Broadway hit the dugout when Jesus Christ Superstar’s title star Paul Nolan took a trip from the Neil Simon Theatre to perform at the New York Yankees' 110th home opener on April 13. "It was kind of intimidating, but it was great," Nolan told The Globe. "You have to forget what you're actually doing. I've been a sports fan all my life, so it was such an honor." The Canadian actor sang “God Bless America” for the 49,386 fans in attendance during the seventh inning stretch.
